Jenny and Clayton: A fabulous wedding and reception at the Crystal Ballroom

November 13th we had the pleasure of capturing Jenny and Clayton's wedding at the Crystal Ballroom at the Rice Hotel. With everything managed to perfection by wedding consultant, Karen Brown, the evening was all about fun.

It's hard to say what was more remarkable the gorgeous set up for the ceremony or the way the Crystal Ballroom was turned for the reception that followed.

Jenny was absolutely stunning while Clayton certainly wanted to make sure he nailed the dance moves for the couple's first dance - hilariously practicing with one of his groomsmen to make sure he got it just right.

The party kicked into gear with a packed dance floor thanks to Doppleganger pumping up the crowd with their fantastic sound.

The highlight of the evening was the after dinner presentation of our Wedding Day Edit. The guests laughed and cried as they saw the day unfold on the big screen.

Louis Pearce Buck Out 2010

For the second consecutive year we had the opportunity to capture Mr. Louis Pearce's Annual Buckout at his ranch in South Texas.  It was a two day event featuring lots of cowboys, horses, beer, and barbeque.  The mariachi band played wonderful selections during the opening evening's dinner.   A live band capped off the second evening with lots of two-stepping and slow dances. 

Jackelyn and Dan: A beautiful wedding on Martha's Vineyard

Mid July, we had the privilege of capturing Jackelyn and Dan's wedding on Martha's Vineyard at the East Chop Lighthouse.  We had a wonderful weekend, the weather cooperated (it didn't rain as was the fear), and the couple couldn't have chosen a more beautiful and memorable site for their wedding. In this wedding day edit you can really see the beauty of the lighthouse grounds, the harbor, and of course the bride! The reception was held at the Sailing Camp which has a beautiful view of boats anchored in the water.  We have captured weddings at many destinations but this one had a particular nostalgic touch and deep meaning for Jackelyn and her family.

Enchanted Cypress: A new wedding and reception venue in Cypress

In May, we produced a wedding day edit, for Jenny and Mac who held their reception at Enchanted Cypress. Andrea, the sales director, loved our work and asked if we would produce a video for Enchanted Cypress' website. It's a beautifully appointed venue.
